| The San Pedro Square Market Hall will be San Jose's first public market hall and is being developed as a catalyst to an emerging high density urban neighborhood. It is the result of a public/private development partnership. JRDV with the community and the developers recognized that providing alternative products and services not found in chain stores would be a means to differentiate a new retail venue and create an urban anchor. It also could establish a dynamic, ever-changing focal point for their newest downtown residential community, thus leading to a stronger more unique civic identity. |
