| Oceanside Beach Resort is one of the newest beach resort developments in North San Diego’s quintessential beach city. JRDV worked in conjunction with SB Architects to define the aesthetics for the massing and elevations of the project. In studying its design, JRDV examined several variables to fit a previously defined program. The arrival sequence, the public perception, the guest perception, and market needs were all considered. The development was designed to have both an historical character, leveraging the project’s authentic local roots, and a formal quality, integrating it with the emerging downtown cultural scene. |
