| The Oakland Central City East Study graphically analyzes the spread of transportation, basic services, existing retail nodes (identified in the Oakland Citywide Retail Strategy Study), General Plan land-use designations, crime density, and foreclosures across the four subareas of the Central City East Redevelopment Area and determines whether there was any correlation between these identified elements. The maps illustrate the clustering of services, streetscape improvements, opportunity sites, and transportation around retail nodes and confirm that this clustering and the existing retail nodes occur around the General Plan land-use designations for Urban Residential, Community Commercial, and Neighborhood Center Mixed Use. |
