JRDV Architects is a full-service architecture firm founded in 2003 by a team of architects and designers who had worked together for many years on projects around the world. Their purpose was to establish an entrepreneurial architectural practice focused on collaborating intensely with visionary developers who want to “push the envelope” on the design of their buildings in significant and often unusual public contexts.

Despite its young age, JRDV is today responsible for a large percentage of open air retail center space in Europe either recently completed, under construction or in design. Its success is due to being able to combine an intellectual framework for urban design with the specific design skills needed to move projects quickly from concept to reality. Project types include town centers, retail centers, hotels, offices, and urban-infill housing. JRDV emphasizes extraordinarily detailed 3-dimensional visualizations of all phases of design from master planning to construction implementation. It also maintains JRDV ProjectSpace, a unique proprietary web-based project management platform maximizing clear communication between clients, builders and collaborating technical consultants often spread over several countries.
